Today my mini osciloscope arrived.  The device measures just 98mm x 60mm x 14mm. It comes complete with a carrybag and two x1 probes.  The specifications are: - 2 analog channels (A and B)

On one side are channels A and B and the signal generator.  The other side has channels C and D, the power button and the USB connection for charging and accessing the flash memory.  And the top has the controls.  Booting shows the version numbers (device is upgradable).  I did a quick check to see if all is working by connecting channel A to the signal generator.  After fidling a bit with the controls (they’re not that intuitive) I managed to get the trigger working and display a stable wave on the screen.  The unit also shows frequency and dutycyle, which are going to be handy for the work I’m going to do with it. First impression is that it should be a usable device, nice and portable. Bit difficult to control, will take some getting used to. Will have to see how it holds up with some real usage 😊 |
