2 Years ago I was looking for a new wallet. My old leather one was torn and I was looking for something flat. Leather wasn’t an option, a wallet without anything it it would be pretty thick. The paper ones (special paper) didn’t have a coin pocket. Finally I ended up at Ducti. They make wallets (and other items) from duct tape.

After browsing through their collection I ended up choosing the Ducti Coin Classic wallet.

The wallet is made from super duct tape exclusively made for Ducti. It is pretty strong and thin. Even the display card used in the store is attached to the wallet using duct tape :)

The wallet is a single fold, having room for 4 cards one the left and coins in a zipper closed pocket on the right.

At the top there is place to put your paper money.

And finally there are two pockets, one underneath the card pockets and one underneath the coin pocket.

The wallet comes complete with a Ducti sticker and a repair kit.

So for the price this seems like a very reasonable offer. Although it is duct tape, eventually it is going to wear, just like other materials. Here is a brand new one compared to one after 2 years of daily use.

So after two years you have to buy a new one? Well, yes, but there is a very nice trade in policy that comes with these wallets:

After contacting the UK office they told me I could transfer 7 British pounds through Pay Pal and specify my choice of wallet (it doesn’t have to be the same type) and they would send it to me. Within a week I received my brand new wallet, ready to replace my used one. Great service!
